Where are you from? This is a question I have always been fascinated with, as it allows me to instantly get to know someone and often leads to each person's unique story. As a first-generation American, I know how important my family's story is to my own life, writing, and personal development. Through this story, I have learned what it takes to overcome barriers, share my voice, and succeed.
As we grow, we are demanded to share our own unique ideas through narration, argumentation, and creation, whether in our personal lives, school, or the workplace. I believe that each person has the natural ability to communicate and share their message; with the proper guidance we can express ourselves and excel wherever we are.
Having worked with university students, graduate school students, adults, and children in grades K-12, I have a sense for what it takes to help others master the English language, express themselves, and succeed in versatile environments.
